Thanksgiving is supposed to signal the start of the most wonderful time of the year, right? Cozy winter months dedicated to quality family time, comfort food, celebrating together, and sharing gratitude for all the good in our lives.At least that’s what it’s supposed to feel like.

Instead it can feel like a non-stop parade of stress, obligations, junk food, and feeling exhausted, bloated, and sore.

  • You brace yourself to hit the grocery store and fight strangers for the last sad tin of cranberry sauce on the shelf
  • Spend all day in the kitchen trying to accommodate all your family and guests who want food to be served their way even though they’re not hosting (or cooking!)
  • And all that stress sends you straight into the snacks, overeating before you crash out on the couch to nap bloated and in pain
