Fitness as a practice is often looked at as a competitive, serious business, but some practitioners are finding ways to infuse joy into the fitness culture.

Megan Roup, Founder of The Sculp Society, started teaching fitness part-time to fund her career as a classical ballet dancer. Unexpectedly, she unlocked a passion for fitness she didn’t know existed. But her journey into wellness wasn’t without doubts and struggles. Megan shares her challenging relationship with food and body image issues that she knew she needed to overcome in order to find joy in her fitness journey for herself and her community. Megan explains the philosophy behind The Sculpt Society and her unique approach.
